Carpenter's Kitchen Receives a Donation of $3,189.00

 

On behalf of Carpenter’s Kitchen, Donald Coon, volunteer, receives a donation
of $3,189 from Fr. Noel McGrath, Pastor, and Dr. Peter Pertis, Concert Pianist.

 

World renowned concert pianist Peter Pertis gave a piano recital at St. Joseph Church, Stuart, Florida, on Sunday, February 10, 2008, playing works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Schumann. He donated his concert, and the total “free will” offering to St. Joseph Church, for the benefit of Carpenter’s Kitchen.

 

Peter and his wife Aggie are winter residents in Stuart, Florida, and summer residents in their native Budapest, Hungary.

 

Carpenter’s Kitchen serves up to 300 free meals for the needy every Monday night at the parish family center.  This donation will be used towards the purchase of a refrigerated vehicle to transport donated food products.
