Reverend Noel McGrath
Pastor |
Father Noel joined us from St. Sebastian Church (Sebastian, FL) and Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission (Fellsmere, FL) in October 2004. Father Noel was born in Glenties, Donegal, Ireland. He studied at St. Kieran's Seminary in Kilkenny, Ireland and was ordained to the priesthood on June 15th, 1980 for the diocese of Raphoe, Ireland. In his years as a priest, Father Noel has served in three continents! He began his priesthood in Parish and High School Ministry in Donegal, Ireland (1980-89). Father Noel then moved to Lima, Peru where he was involved in Prison and Parish Ministry from 1989-94. From 1994-99, he returned to Ireland to serve as Raphoe Diocesan Youth Director and Parish Ministry. Father Noel came to the United States in 1999, first serving at Sacred Heart Parish in Lake Worth (1999-2001) and finally at St. Sebastian Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission (2001-04). Father Noel has been a priest for 27 years and has been here at St. Joseph since 2004. |

Reverend Sabas Ntimia Mallya, ALCP Parochial Vicar |
Father Sabas joined us from St. Benedict the African -- West in the Archdiocese of Chicago (May 2006). He was born in the "Umbwe Village" of Tanzania. He attended seminary in Tanzania and was ordained on June 30, 1991. Father Sabas also studied at the Lateran University of Rome and received a Master's Degree in Pastoral Theology. Soon after, he served as a novice master at Sabuko in Tanzania. Father Sabas' ministry has also taken him to three continents. He has served as parochial vicar at Rosana Parish (Tanzania), Parrochia San Maria Magiore (Italy), St. Raphael Church (Santa Barbara), St. Francis Xavier (Pico Rivera). He was also a pastor at Parrochia San Giorgio Martire (Italy) and St. Eugune (Los Angeles) and as Administrator of St. Benedict the African (Chicago). Father Sabas is a member of the Apostolic Life Community of Priests (ALCP/OSS). |

Reverend Francisco Osorio Parochial Vicar |
Father Francisco joined us from St. Lucie Parish (August 2007). Father Osorio is originally from Ibague, Colombia, where he attended seminary and was ordained on July 5, 1986. (Pope John Paul II ordained Father Francisco during his visit to Colombia!) While a priest, Father Francisco attended the University of Lateranense of Rome. He served as a professor at the Seminary in his diocese and was a member of the Ecclesiastical Tribunal. Above all duties, Father Francisco served as pastor in Colombia for twelve years. |

Sister Emelia Paul Brown, O.P.

Sister Paul was born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida. She joined the Dominican Sisters in Adrian, Michigan at age 18 and took her vows one year later. During her years of service, she has been involved in all levels of education, including Elementary, Secondary and College Levels. She spent 8 years doing Pastoral Ministry at St. Anastasia in Fort Pierce and has been involved in Pastoral Ministry at St. Joseph for over 10 years. Sister Paul recently celebrated her 60 year jubilee (2007). |
