Goals and Purpose:  To aid in the nourishment of the Faith community of St. Joseph by enhancing our celebrations of the Liturgy. The ministry allows parishioners the opportunity to share their talents while glorifying God. there are no age limits in this ministry. Our seasonal Cantors are always welcome and encouraged to participate as well. 

Responsibilities:  Leading the parts that are sung in our Liturgical Celebrations. 

Helpful Attributes: A heart for worship and a desire to glorify God with the abilities He has given are essential in serving in this Music Ministry. Being a Cantor requires good leadership skills, strong vocal chords, a good sense of rhythm, focus and flexibility. 

Time Commitment: Flexible- as needed and available.

Training Required: There is a training/audition process. 

Fingerprinting Required: No

Meeting Schedule: Flexible; there is a service run-through and a brief time for praayer 30 minutes prior to Mass in Annex B.
