Children's Church Choir

CHILDREN’S CHURCH CHOIR Ministry 

The Children’s Church Choir  (CCC) would like to invite our Parish children in the 1st through 8th grades to join! CCC members do not have to be able to read music, but they must have the reading skills to follow the text of the songs we prepare.  The CCC leads the parish in song at the 9am Celebration on Sundays.  We will also participate in other special liturgies of our parish as well as our Diocesan community throughout the year. 

Rehearsals are MANDATORY!!!  The CCC has practice every Wednesday afternoon, from 2:45 to 3:45pm AND  on Sunday mornings at 8:30am prior to the 9am Mass.  Rehearsals are held in the church and the church annex.

MUSIC MINISTRY—CHILDREN’S CHURCH CHOIR

Goals and Purpose:

 

To aid in the nourishment of the faith community of

St. Joseph and the Diocese of Palm Beach by enhancing our celebrations of

the Liturgy. This ministry allows the children of our parish the opportunity

to share their talents while glorifying God.

Responsibilities:

 

We prepare a variety of sacred music to enhance the

various liturgies of our parish as well as our Diocesan community.

Helpful attributes: 

A pleasant voice and the reading skills to follow the text

of the songs we prepare.

Time Commitment: 

Approximately three hours per week.

Training Required:
